There are many nice and safe neighborhoods in Guadalajara like Chapultepec, Zapopan, Providencia among others. These neighborhoods are very popular among foreign travelers, and you can live comfortably in these neighborhoods.

Also, many top-ranked universities in Guadalajara are present in these neighborhoods, like Universidad de Guadalajara. Many international students choose to live in these areas as they offer a safe and lively atmosphere.

The street and neighborhood

Poblado is the nicest area in the city. It’s known for its beautiful apartments and fancy restaurants and bars. As Medellin is a valley and Poblado is on the edge, many apartments have an amazing view over the city and are surrounded by nature.

This apartment is located right above the entertainment area called Parque Lleras. It’s a quiet and safe area, but still very close to all the hotspots! 

Entertainment

The spaces everyone goes to have fun are located in Poblado. This is the place to be! Full of restaurants, bars, clubs, shopping malls, cinemas, stores, and more! 

Casa Iguana is just a few minutes walking and an amazing location for someone that wants to have fun but also wants to live in a quiet area.

The universities that are nearest to the house are:

  • University EAFIT: 14 minutes by car
  • CES: 4 minutes by car
  • Business district: 3 minutes by car

Most internships and foreign companies are located in Poblado.
